Aunt Bertha's Fresca Salad

1 3 oz. package lemon or lime Jello,
dissolved in 1 cup boiling water |
| 8 oz. cream cheese, softened |
| 1 t vanilla |
| 1 t sugar |
| 9 oz. can crushed pineapple, drained |
| 10 oz. Fresca (or 7-Up) |
| 1/2 cup nuts |

Beat Fresca with softened cream cheese using an electric mixer. Stir in remaining ingredients and chill until firm. |
