Nanaimo Bars

|
1 cup melted butter |
| 1/2 cup sugar |
| 1 cup cocoa |
| 1/2 cup egg substitute |
| 1 t vanilla |
| 3 cups graham cracker crumbs (13.5 oz. box) |
| 1 cup unsweetened coconut (optional) |
| 1 cup walnuts |
| Custard Layer: |
| 2 cups powdered sugar |
| 1/2 cup soft butter |
| 4 T custard powder |
| 1/4 cup cream |
|
Mix together all ingredients (except custard layer)
and press into two 9X9 pans. Refrigerate.
Cream together custard layer ingredients and spread on top of first layer. Chill. Melt 8 squares semi-sweet chocolate (8 oz.) and 4 T butter and spread on top of chilled custard layer. |
