Mr. and Mrs. Melvin M. Lineman of Harrisburg Run were guests of honor at a surprise party given at their home last Saturday evening.

The occasion marked the 25th anniversary of the couple's wedding.  The couple was married in Shippenville on Oct. 21, 1925. They have lived in Bradford and vicinity for the past 21 years. They have six children, Myron, Wellsville, N. Marian, Martha, Gerald, Edward and Ronald Lineman, all of home.

Notes for FLOYD D. LINEMAN:

During World War II, Floyd was a member of the 120th Infantry. He was reported missing in action on August 14, 1944 and later a prisoner of war at Stalag 9 in Germany. After two years he was liberated at the end of the war. He was never married.
