Linamen Irwin
Mrs. Irwin of Erie
Dies Monday
ERIE - Mrs. Pearle
Elizabeth Irwin, 70, of Erie, and a
former Oil City resident, was dead on arrival at Hamot Hospital
at 11:30 a.m. Thursday.
She was born in
Clarion County September 12,
1901, the daughter of James
and Myra Adams Linamen.
She was a practical
nurse for many years, and a
member of the Church of God. Mrs. Irwin was the widow of Harry
E. Irwin, who preceded her in
death on April 22, 1966. A
daughter, Mrs. Virginia Perrett,
also proceeded her in death
in 1967.
She is survived by
two sons, Mack C. Irwin of
Erie, and Bad E. Irwin of Oil
City; two daughters, Mrs.
Wayne (June) Fish, of
Richmond, Va., and Mrs. Duval
(Peggy) Haynes, of Fredricksburg,
Va.; two brothers, Herbert Linamen, of Florida, and Will
Linamen, of Callensburg; two
sisters, Mrs. Andrew (Bessie)
Powell, of Grove City, and
Mrs. Stanley (Myma) Weisbrod,
of Jamestown, N.Y.; 22
grandchildren; and five greatgrandchildren.
Friends may call
after 2 p.m. Saturday at the
Charles A. Morrison Funeral
Home. The family will receive
friends from 2 to 4 p.m. and
7 to 9 p.m. Saturday and
Sunday.
Services will be
held at 2:00 p.m. Monday in
the funeral home with Rev.
Charles Dickerson of Medina,
Ohio, officiating. Interment
will be in the Brandon
Cemetery.
