| Johan Vilhem Holmlund and his brother, Anton Walfrid, came to the U.S. in 1892. The brothers went to Buffalo, New York, where their father's brother Wilhelm had immigrated in 1847. The brothers opened a paper and wallpaper store in Buffalo. Johan's son, Ted, moved to Jamestown, New York, where he met and married Helen Arlene Rein, daughter of Melvin and Hilda Rein.
