Paul Farringer Family
Paul Farringer was the third born son of
John and Mary Magdalena Ferringer. Paul was married to Elsie Jane Bell
in April 1861 and the couple resided at Victory, Cranberry township, where
Paul followed his trade of carpenter. After a number of moves in that
area, Paul and Elsie settled on the Farringer homestead, located between Seneca and
Cranberry, where they remained for the rest of their lives. The farm was
wilderness at that time, and was cleared by Paul and his sons, who also erected the roomy and comfortable farmhouse, which for years
afforded a hospitable welcome to friends and wayfarers alike. (1)
