Cranberry Sauce

 

16 oz. cranberries
2 cups water
2 cups sugar

Place cranberries and water in large pot on high heat.  Bring to a boil.  Rinse and separate cranberries (pick out soft ones). 

When "popped," remove from pot and put through strainer.  Add sugar.

Return to stove and bring to slow boil, boiling for 8 minutes (10 if air weather is humid).  Place in jars (following canning guidelines).
