Nanaimo Bars


1 cup melted butter

1/2 cup sugar
1 cup cocoa
1/2 cup egg substitute
1 t vanilla
3 cups graham cracker crumbs (13.5 oz. box)
1 cup unsweetened coconut (optional)
1 cup walnuts
Custard Layer:
2 cups powdered sugar
1/2 cup soft butter
4 T custard powder
1/4 cup cream
Mix together all ingredients (except custard layer) and press into two 9X9 pans.  Refrigerate.

Cream together custard layer ingredients and spread on top of first layer.  Chill.

Melt 8 squares semi-sweet chocolate (8 oz.) and 4 T butter and spread on top of chilled custard layer.
